Overview
Main activities are to build
relationships with current client base and introduce new clients. Further
communication with clients, both current, and potential, is required to inform
them of the support Bartech can provide and inform Bartech of the support
clients are looking for. Will be required to have hands-on approach to other
company projects. The Technical Sales Engineer will report to the Commercial
Director.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with current client base, gaining feedback on our current
levels of service and seeing how we can support them further.
- Investigate and research new clients.
- Build relationships with new clients.
- Visit new and future clients when required.
- Support and provide input into Sales and Marketing plan.
- Help identify & review ideal customers for Bartech Marine.
- Provide weekly report at sales meeting detailing findings and feedback from
clients contacted.
- Maintain new client database.
- Maintain current customer contact log.
- Investigate new markets by product and location.
- Draft quotations against customer requirements.
- Continuously develop through learnings and training.
- Work in an organised way.
- All work must be carried out within our health & safety procedures.
- All activities to comply with Contract of Employment, unless agreed in writing.
KPIs
- Increase average number of orders per client
- Introduce new ideal customers
Requirements
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of industrial, or marine diesel engines and equipment
- Experience dealing with clients in shipping, energy, traction or industrial
sectors.
- Energetic and motivated.
- Focus on customer service.
