Job Description – Parts Coordinator

Engineering is expanding and looking for an enthusiastic, committed & versatile
Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Improving “on time delivery” percentage in line with targets.
- Developing and improving current relevant procedures.
- Organising and supporting Stores Assistant.
- Check and book in incoming items inline with Bartech’s Goods
Inwards procedure.
- Follow up purchase orders to meet delivery commitments
- Pack goods dependent upon destination and items.
- Despatch goods, completing courier paperwork in line with
company procedure.
- Raise purchase order requests to replenish consumables and other
regularly used items.
- Assist with keeping workshop and packing bay tidy, including job
identification.
- Take full responsibility of the quality of work.
- May be required for collections, or deliveries, if required
- Work in an organised way
Requirements
- Ability to use Word, Excel.
- Basic engineering background and interest,
preferably with spares fitted to Paxman engines.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Ability to be able to work under instruction.
- Driving Licence.
- Fork truck licence, or experience.
- Must be flexible to take on additional tasks to assist
company.
