A complete overhaul was performed due to bearing break up
within the upper bearing housing.

Metal particles were entering the main tube assembly with
potential damage to complete lower bevel gear propeller
drive.
-
After removal of both upper and lower gear housings, the
drive tube was extracted from the main outer tube.

All drive's gears, bearings and shims were cleaned and inspected. All necessary parts
replaced.
-
Propeller was repaired and securely fitted to the
assembly.
-
All exposed metal surfaces painted with additional
environmentally safe anti fouling paint.
-
Unit was then dispatched and fitted to the vessel whilst in
dock.
