- Alternator was initially cleaned and
stoved.
- Insulation and continuity tests were performed before and
after stoving.
- Relevant electrical testing carried out including flash
testing to establish any earth or other faults.
- Main rotor pole rewound and insulator cheeks repaired.
- The Stator and rotor were coated and dipped to restore maximum insulation.
- The Alternator was rebuilt and tested through its full load
range.
