Further Details:


  • Alternator was initially cleaned and stoved.
  • Insulation and continuity tests were performed before and after stoving.
  • Relevant electrical testing carried out including flash testing to establish any earth or other faults.
  • Main rotor pole rewound and insulator cheeks repaired.
  • The Stator and rotor were coated and dipped to restore maximum insulation.
  • The Alternator was rebuilt and tested through its full load range.
